I Believe in The Flow....

I believe in the flow Current mood: awake Category: Life I believe in the healthy flow of life and today said to myself, " Little A...you know it has to flow." Yes , sometimes I say to myself " Little A" to remind me to treat new learning with gentleness, enthusiasm, optimism and the gratitude of a child. We so often push for loving, push for wanting, push someone to stay, push for acknowledgement, push to convince and push to pretend, we even push for change that may never come or really simply may not be part of the plan for the person , place, or ourselves. Seriously... wasn't it hard enough being born? Wasn't there enough push and tug in that process? Just getting here and screaming out loud because the peace we once knew was disrupted..that was enough no? Getting here is a struggle but living here should be about striving for peace, serenity, greatness and having it. No cheap dramas and such. Finding Joys Light: Spiritual Mechanics for overcoming Unrequited Love..... Some time ago I got a call from a friend who was in emotional distress about the failure of her relationship with a man she had chosen to have a child with. Nothing was planned and nothing had gone has she had hoped and while in the midst of living the life she had not expected, she was questioning how someone she loved so much could treat her so badly. Her mood and way of being had become angry, neurotic in fact and she was pushing away the love that was truly authentic in her life. She thought for sure that she would not recover. I thought for sure that she could if not for her own sake, for the sake of her toddler daughter. Who of us has not felt the sting of unrequited love?
