Looked into the eyes of a stranger and wondered ..

What love does (s)he know?
Does (s)he have a home?
Did (s)he notice me looking at him?

I have ....
Doubts
Thoughts of another life
Prayers being answered
Forgiveness for those who have done wrong
Strength and hope

I have....
A plan I change from time to time.
Profound belief that courage,compassion,truth, grace, aptitude,
love and creed are the solution for most all ills of the world.
People I will always miss
People I want to know


I have....
Said no to people who wanted me to say yes
Taken on task that I was unsure of
Been satisfied with my results


I have....
Had my truth denied, refused, ridiculed
Maintained through my own action


I have ....
Cried
Laughed
Won
Lost
Dreams

I have ....
A man who loves me with all my faults
I call him "Father"
A best friend
Children in my life every day
Hopes for a young family of my own


I have ....
A love of reading and exploration
A great education
An extremely high IQ
A lot to be grateful for

I have....
Loved someone so deeply that my breath was lost in thinking of them
Felt a tinge of regret in my everyday life
Realized that my life is only mine and yours is yours
Knowledge that I am a soul connected to a body

I have ....
Prayed for others more than I have ever prayed for myself
Felt creation in a perfect hour
Worked long hours for something that I believe in
Been envied by many and probably pitied by more

I have...
Known that the eyes are part of the brain and....
wondered if what I see is only real and present if I comprehend it
Embraced the time that I live in now
Waited eagerly for tomorrow

I have .... realized ....
That we have invented nothing and that innovation is re-creation
To believe that we will innovate until we get it right
realized .... "to realize" is to use REAL EYES



I have love
I have attention
I have a heart that beats powerfully beneath my chest
I have your attention


I have wholeness
I have light
I have tolerance
I have laid it on the line

I have PEACE. It shakes sometimes.

Every word we utter is tied to an action; a thought stimulated by an action and vice versa. The subconscious coming to surface where things can be seen. Show some respect. He is not your companion. He is your Commander -In - Chief.

The blatant and horrid disrespect of our Nation's President started long before the State of the Union address where he was called a " liar"  and continues with  even worse name calling and racial attacks. Our President may be referred to as the following:  " Mr. President", "The Honorable Barack Obama", "His Excellency,  Barack Obama", and of course President Obama.  Nothing less is acceptable. Even referencing him by first name alone (as many people do) is out of line unless you are First Lady Michelle Obama. While I think we are a global family, I also think these ongoing episodes do much to  further segregate America and give it the image of our country as a place of disgrace, disuntity, and hate. Imagine trying to explain it to a 5 year old who followed the campaign and elections with her family and proudly declared that " Our President is Barack Obama and Ms. Michelle looks like my Nana." The DNA of relationships- The easiest science I know One night, I spoke with someone who I just met earlier in the year, This is a person who is quickly becoming a cherished friend. Talking with her and the few things we said to each other allowed me to think deeply about relationships and particularly friendships. If you knew me well, then you would know that I believe that the way to measure a relationship can be as simple as "How you feel when you hang up the phone. " I implore anyone who talks to me and also ask myself these questions: Was Love expressed? Was there Laughter? Was there Honesty? Was there good intent for tomorrow? Where we centered during the conversation? Did we listen to each other? Am I eager to see, encounter, hang with this person and talk with him / her again? These are things that I can decipher from a 5 minute phone call. The answers are revealed in the DNA© that builds the conversation. For me there are only two types and no hybrids exist. Yea...
