Adrienne A, Wallace of VIVmag Launches Invitation-Only Affiliate Program

A couple of  months ago, I became a bit disenchanted by the way a brand can get lost through affiliate marketing programs.  I looked at Glam.com , CJ.com  and was not big on how those entities would manage to serving graphics, content, offers that would resonate with each etailer or bloggers pre - exisiting content.

It seems that there is no distinct logic to placing banners and attracting consumers anymore. In fact a luxury brand could be served a mass retailer ad. I did not want to be part of the disregard for affinity with potential consumers.

Companies join affiliate networks and just any person or random website seems to be able to claim a genre and automatically they get access and opportunity to promote a brand on  their sites.

The brand I am working with has a soul. In fact there are 7 pillars that drive the content of this multimedia targeted towards and created for affluent women.  They are  Fitness, Wellness, Awareness, Healthy Eating, Style, Beauty, and  Travel.  The content focus on that and it is all digital and can be shared, archived and accessed on multiple devices. The "cloud" for this multimedia, VIVmag is Apple's iPad, iPhone, laptop, or desktops; be that PC or MAC.

We have even created a iPad app back in October 2010. It's free so any iPad owner can download and get the interactive experience and high fidelity visuals right away before deciding to purchase.

I had our PR agency support me in crafting the announcement that follows in the link below.  This PR serves as notice to the trade, bloggers, and e-tailers whose online offerings and digital footprint resonate with the cultivation of a high energy yet balanced and inspireds lifestyle.  The people that have joined as affiliates, VIVMavens are high achievers, responsive, digitally connected, extremely talented, aware, involved and moving ahead light speed with life challenges while celebrating successes, They are the type of content producers this media brand wants to know and they are global. They not only have a website, but they have blogs, webisodes / video, and active social media presence that really works well for their own distribution and notation of VIV within multiple digital channels that they manage.

VIVmag Launches Invitation-Only Affiliate Program

So   with VIVMag,  I decided that the way that the brand can truly speak to women consumers is by affiliating with women that are already talking to them. No need to employ media that we cannot control . OWNED media is the way to go in affiliate marketing as it relates to niche  brands or media. No wait, no hassle, you set the business terms.   This already catch notice as there are media entities now looking to copy this model.  The more the merrier. Let's serve people what they are most likely to be interested  in and not randomness.
If you have any questions about  branding strategies to serves the sales and marketing goals of your brand and want to know more, please leave comments on the blog or  contact me at VIVMag or on Linkedin :

LETTING GO....

L-E-T-T-I-N-G    G-O You have seen these words before..yes? Very simply written in nine letters. “L e tting  go .” Why does it make you uncomfortable?  It is simply an action that you as a human being experience every single day, just by physically and chemically existing.  It is an action that occurs when you have complete trust in your intuition ; that heaven sent voice inside of you. You know the one you may not always agree with, but the angels are so fond of you ..they send it into your ears, head, heart , and sometimes your eyes? If you are reading this your eyes open and they shut very quickly ..it is called "blinking" but in fact it is letting go and it happens very quickly. As we blink old light goes away and we allow new light to come in …seeing the next moment. As you turned on your computer or device you may have pressed a button, touched the screen, flipped a switch. As you clicked on your mouse, stroked and released keys on the k...

The Things I will do Before You Are Gone....

Fully aware of how precious life is and remembering the tender, exciting and amazing muses that I have been blessed and no doubt favored to know.. I wrote this list. Enjoy it. Create a life you love. The Things I will do Before You Are Gone.© By Adrienne Wallace (June 2008) 1) I will tell you, "I love you more than anything ...except GOD." 2) I will squeal with delight when you have achieved something new or gotten more of what makes you happy. I will stay as you pursue your delight and be a part of you capturing it. 3) I will steal your pillowcase when you are out of the room and replace it with a fresh one. I will put the one I steal on my pillow so I can smell your essence when I nap or sleep. 4) I will hold your hand even if you were 'just my manicurist' and look into your eyes and say "Thank You"... Maybe you're touching hands all day, but I want you to remember that mine appreciates yours. They are so warm 5) I will wish you t...

Where Did It Go? The question that comes when ownership is lost.

" Where Did It Go? " This is a common question asked about time, goodness, old regimes, and old relationships, memory and other than that... money and misplaced keys. Where did it go? We hear this amongst those of us who have not set a strategy and intention for what we have. This also the question that comes particularly from those of us who become all too confident in what we have but do not own. Ownership of one's talent, work, innovation, relationships and contribution is either an old or new concept in many places. What is encouraging is the ability to list our criteria for ownership and then be honest about what we truly own. Here are a few that I was thinking of today: Ownership of material things - You paid for it , don't owe anything for it to anyone Ownership of relationships - You tell the truth, engage with grace, and express mutual respect without excuses or references to what does not apply to the person you are relating to Ownership of innovation -...
